Undirbúningur fyrir pólsku menningarhátíðina hefur gengið vel. Hátíðin verður í ár haldin á Nesvöllum laugardaginn 9. nóvember kl. 13.00 - 16:00. Margir hafa komið að undirbúningi. Ein þeirra er Justyna Grosel sem hefur teiknað einkennismerki eða lógó fyrir hátíðina. Með því móti er hátíðin fest enn betur í sessi, en hún verður haldin árlega. Fjöldi sjálfboðaliða hefur einnig komið að undirbúningi, m.a. íbúar Reykjanesbæjar af pólskum uppruna sem ætla að leyfa okkur að kynnast pólskri matargerð og pólsku heimili.

Justyna Grosel er grafískur hönnuður frá Póllandi en hefur búið á Íslandi undanfarin fimm ár. Hún hefur starfað í prentiðnaði undanfarin 25 ár, en einnig við blaðamennsku og ritstjórn. Hún stundar að auki klettaklifur og er femínískur aðgerðarsinni.

Um lógóið segir Justyna: 

„Polish events that combine both nations are priceless at many levels. The Polish community in Reykjanesbær is really spectacular and seeing that they have a chance to be with their Icelandic neighbours not only during the work time but also the free time, having fun together, share experience and traditions, sounds like a great event to take part in. While making a logo for the event which hopefully will have new openings every year and became a part of the annual calendar for the society of Reykjanesbær, I got to this idea that it is like having at least during this one special day, a piece of Poland on the edge of Iceland. Having pointing GPS sign was essential. Typography and the flag feeling came as something gentle but kind of in the process, like painting on the wall, using the national colours for Poles. It was great in the end, to hear that some people read the logo also as a key - to the culture - and... the bird. When you recall that Reykjanesbær emblem is the bird, it makes a nice point of view.“
